And when he saw the fires, she had walked through, and the spirals she had danced alone, his soul trembled with recognition.  In the garden of truth, he remembered her not with his eyes, but with the eyes of the soul.  The woman said nothing.  She only turned, and the wind carried her prayer into the night.

The woman returned to the quiet grove where her soul first cracked open.  A place of ashes and whispers, where once she had left pieces of herself just to survive.

In the days that followed, the woman no longer sought to explain herself.  She began to live her truth – not loudly, but unmistakably.

Follow Your Heart

There are whispers we hear that change us.  Not because they’re loud, but because they touch something eternal within us.  I once heard such a whisper – a promise wrapped in softness, and then....it was gone.

There was once a woman who lived at the edge of two worlds – the world she knew, and the one calling her forward.

There came a day when the woman no longer sat beside the gate with longing.  She sat in peace.  The ache had softened; the waiting had ripened into wisdom.  She had not forced the gate to open – she had learned to bloom beside it. 

There are some stories that are not told, they are felt.

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

There are moments in our journey where we reach the edge of our own strength, where the only path forward is surrender.  This parable is one of those moments for me.  It’s a story wrapped in symbolism, rooted in truth, and filled with grace I encountered when I finally laid my fears down and gave them to God.

The Void 

I was sitting at the kitchen table looking outside thru the window to the backyard I saw a Blue Jay.  I have never seen one before in the years that I lived at this house.  So, I watched the bird go up into the tree.
